About Me

I’m David Dodini, and I take a personalized and specialized approach to helping you move toward the life you desire. With over five years of experience in mental health treatment, I’ve worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting teens, young adults, couples, and individuals with a wide range of mental health needs.

Have you been feeling overwhelmed or anxious?

Are you struggling to find meaning, joy, and connection in your life?

If so, I want to help you find relief, strength, and resolution.

My Approach

I believe therapy works best when it’s individualized, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I’m committed to identifying and implementing the approach that best fits each person I work with, meeting you where you are and supporting you through every stage of your journey.

As a husband and father, I deeply understand the complexities of parenting, family dynamics, and relationships. I bring this lived experience into my work, offering authentic guidance to those navigating family challenges, couples counseling, and relational stress. My goal is to help you cultivate stronger connections and healthier relationships.

Therapeutic Modalities

I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Person-Centered Therapy

I tailor these approaches to best support your goals, values, and lived experience.

What You Can Expect

I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, unwanted behaviors, addiction, and challenges related to focus, motivation, and self-discipline. I’m experienced in addiction counseling, using motivational interviewing to support recovery and empower meaningful change.

For clients who desire it, I also offer faith-based counseling, integrating Christian principles into the therapeutic process in a respectful and client-centered way. Additionally, I provide executive function training to help individuals strengthen organization, focus, and follow-through in daily life.

Moving Forward

Finding the right therapist can feel daunting, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or continuing work you’ve already started, I’m here to support you.

If I seem like a good fit—or if you’d simply like to learn more—I’d be glad to connect and help you take the next step toward the relief and strength you deserve.
