Hi, I'm

MSWI—MASTERS SOCIAL WORKER

Sometimes the most important question isn't 'What's wrong with me?' but 'What happened that led me here? I work with my clients to explore the patterns causing the most frustration in your life, where they came from, and how to change them. I especially love working with kids, teens, and young adults to explore the parts of your story that deserve curiosity and not criticisim.

Who I Work Best With

I may be a good fit for:

When anxiety, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm keep showing up, it's easy to wonder what's wrong. Often, the better question is what those struggles are trying to tell us.

My Approach

I believe behaviors make more sense when we understand the need behind them. Whether a child is acting out, shutting down, struggling at school, or feeling overwhelmed by emotions, there is often more happening beneath the surface than what others can see.

My background working with children, teens, and behavioral interventions has taught me to look beyond the behavior itself and explore the patterns, emotions, experiences, and unmet needs contributing to it.

Therapy becomes a space where children, teens, and families can better understand themselves, build new skills, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change together.

How I support my clients

I take a strengths-based, developmentally informed approach that helps children, teens, and families better understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and environment. Drawing from behavioral principles, emotional regulation strategies, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, I help clients identify patterns, build skills, and create meaningful change that extends beyond the therapy room.

I have a particular interest in working with children and adolescents experiencing ADHD, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral challenges, anxiety, executive functioning concerns, and neurodivergent learning styles. I believe behavior is often communication, and I work collaboratively with clients and families to understand the needs, stressors, and experiences driving difficult behaviors rather than simply focusing on symptom reduction.

My work incorporates behavioral interventions, executive functioning supports, coping skills development, emotional regulation strategies, parent collaboration, goal tracking, and outcome-based treatment planning. When appropriate, I utilize assessment tools and progress measures to help clients and families identify growth, celebrate successes, and make informed decisions about treatment goals.

Through curiosity, compassion, and practical skill-building, I help children, teens, and families develop greater self-awareness, confidence, resilience, emotional flexibility, and healthier ways of navigating challenges at home, school, and in relationships.
