We do not provide forensic evaluations or comprehensive psychological testing.
Mental Health Assessments vs. Psychological Testing
Many people use the terms "assessment," "evaluation," and "testing" interchangeably. Clinically, however, they are different services.

What to Expect

Schedule your assessment
All assessments are scheduled in a dedicated three-hour block. Payment is due at scheduling to reserve your appointment.

Complete required paperwork
Before your appointment, you will need to:

Complete intake paperwork

Sign assessment consent forms

Complete any required Releases of Information (ROI)

Provide court, probation, DCFS, or related documentation when applicable

Attend your assessment
Most assessments involve approximately two hours of direct evaluation.

Review of relevant records
Assessments are generally conducted in person unless otherwise approved.

Professional review & report preparation
Following your appointment, your clinician dedicates additional time to thoroughly review assessment findings, analyze screening results, evaluate diagnostic criteria, review collateral information, formulate clinical impressions, and prepare any required documentation or reports.
This review process is a critical part of ensuring your evaluation is accurate, clinically sound, and useful.

Reports are sent
Please allow up to seven business days following your assessment for completion of any required reports, recommendations, letters, or supporting documentation.

Depending on the type of assessment, reports may be sent directly to you or to the appropriate party.
