Hi, I'm
MFTI—MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPIST
If you've ever felt like everyone else got a map for life and you didn't, you're probably exactly the kind of person I love working with. Maybe you've spent years feeling different, misunderstood, or like you're trying to navigate systems that were never built with someone like you in mind.
The good news is you don't have to figure it out alone.
Who I Work Best With
I may be a good fit for:
Gamers, creators, and deep thinkers trying to find their place in the world
LDS young adults navigating faith questions, faith transitions, or spiritual growth
People living with disabilities or navigating systems that weren't designed with their needs in mind
Neurodivergent individuals who are tired of feeling misunderstood
Anyone who is feeling lost, disconnected, socially anxious, or unsure of who they are becoming

Not sure if I'm the right fit?
Our care coordinators can help match you with the best therapist for your needs, availability, and goals.
Some people spend their lives trying to fit into someone else's character sheet.
I'd rather help you build one that actually fits you.
My Approach
I believe behaviors make more sense when we understand the need behind them. Whether a child is acting out, shutting down, struggling at school, or feeling overwhelmed by emotions, there is often more happening beneath the surface than what others can see.

My background working with children, teens, and behavioral interventions has taught me to look beyond the behavior itself and explore the patterns, emotions, experiences, and unmet needs contributing to it.
Therapy becomes a space where children, teens, and families can better understand themselves, build new skills, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change together.

How I support my clients
I believe most people already have strengths, resilience, and answers inside them. Sometimes they just need help making sense of their story.

As someone who has spent years serving and advocating within disability communities, including individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, autistic, and navigating unique life challenges, I understand what it feels like to move through systems that weren't always designed with your needs in mind. That perspective shapes how I approach therapy: with curiosity, compassion, flexibility, and a genuine desire to understand your experience before trying to change it.

As both a therapist and a longtime Dungeons & Dragons storyteller, I often view therapy through the lens of narrative. Together we'll look at the story you've inherited, the roles you've been asked to play, the beliefs you've carried, and the future you're hoping to create.
Rather than getting stuck endlessly analyzing the past, we'll focus on identifying strengths, creating direction, and helping you build a life that feels authentic and meaningful.
