Six Years of Hope
Six years ago, Kane Counseling Services was one therapist with a simple belief: every person deserves a place where they can be seen, understood, and helped.
This month, as we celebrate our sixth anniversary, I'm amazed by how that small beginning has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.
Like many small businesses, the early years were filled with uncertainty.
There were long days, difficult decisions, lessons learned the hard way, and countless moments where faith had to be bigger than fear.
But every challenge reinforced why we started.
It was never about building the biggest counseling practice.
It was always about building a place where people could heal.
Today, that vision has become something our entire team carries forward every single day.
Together, we've now had 52 incredible therapists be part of the Kane Counseling family, each bringing unique gifts, compassion, and expertise to the people they serve.
Over the past six years we've been privileged to support more than 3,005 individuals, couples, children, and families through some of the hardest seasons of their lives.
In 2026 alone, we are actively serving 822 clients, and during just the first six months of this year our therapists have provided nearly 8,000 therapy sessions.
Those numbers represent far more than appointments on a calendar.
They represent marriages that found hope again.
Children who finally felt safe.
Parents who learned new ways to connect with their families.
Individuals who discovered that healing was possible.
People who chose courage over isolation.
Over the past six years we've also had the privilege of expanding what care looks like in our community.
Together we've:
Opened a second clinic location.
Established a partnership with Rocky Mountain University Health Clinics.
Launched women's support groups.
Created co-parenting education classes.
Developed psychoeducational programs for teens.
Delivered more than 30 presentations to schools, healthcare providers, attorneys, businesses, and community organizations.
Invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into clinician training, supervision, and professional development.
Provided more than 3,120 hours of clinical supervision in 2025 alone as we help develop the next generation of exceptional therapists.
Every one of these milestones exists for one reason:
To make quality mental health care more accessible, more compassionate, and more effective for the people who trust us with their stories.
To our therapists and staff: thank you for bringing your hearts to work every day. The compassion, wisdom, patience, and professionalism you offer our clients cannot be measured by numbers alone. It is a privilege to work alongside you.
To the physicians, schools, attorneys, churches, community organizations, and professionals who refer clients to us: thank you for your confidence and trust. We never take that responsibility lightly.
And to every client and family who has walked through our doors:

Thank you for allowing us into some of the most vulnerable moments of your lives.
Thank you for trusting us with your stories, your fears, your hopes, and your healing.
Watching people reclaim joy, strengthen relationships, find peace, and build healthier futures remains the greatest privilege of this work.
As we look toward the next chapter, our mission remains exactly what it was six years ago:
To strengthen individuals, couples, and families by providing exceptional mental health care that changes lives for generations.
